With over 25 years of experience working with people, managers and businesses, I’ve learned that effective HR is about much more than simply following a process.
It’s about listening, understanding the circumstances and making decisions that are fair, practical and right for the business.
My background in hospitality and retail has given me first-hand experience of the challenges employers face — from everyday people management to difficult conversations, workplace disputes, investigations and complex employment matters.
I understand that managers don’t always have the answers, and sometimes they simply need someone experienced, approachable and dependable to turn to.
That’s the support I’ve created Synergy HR & Compliance to provide.

Why I Established Synergy
Throughout my career, I’ve seen the difference that good HR support can make — not just to businesses, but to the people within them.
I’ve also seen how challenging managing people can become when employers feel uncertain, unsupported or overwhelmed by the responsibilities they carry.
I established Synergy because I believe HR advice should be accessible, personal and grounded in the realities of running a business.
My aim is to build lasting relationships with employers, offering the confidence of experienced HR guidance alongside the understanding and reassurance that comes from working with someone who genuinely cares about getting things right.
